Coal Miners' Day is going to rock this year! Why? Because we are hosting a Guitar Hero Tournament! That's Right! So if you think your good enough. Show up and Rock out.

Downtown Bridgeport

From 9am to 1pm we will allow anyone to come up and show us your stuff. There will be several systems setup with guitars and headsets. Entry fee is set at $5.00. You get one play per entry fee, but there is no limit to how many times you can enter. Your highest score will be recorded and updated through out the day.

Then at 2pm the top 16 will be entered into a single elimination head to head tournament for the grand prize.

There will also be prizes for special categories such as:*

Best Dressed (i.e. costumes)
Oldest Rocker
Youngest Rocker
Most engaging rocker (i.e. dances around, brandishes the guitar like its real, etc.)

*These awards will depend on the number of prizes

So come by on Saturday Sept 15 and show us what you got.

All proceeds will go to the Downtown Bridgeport fund which in part funds these events.
